The Content Formula That Grew My Clients’ Socials by 10x

Client Social Media Analytics, Viral Video, Content Formula

If you’re posting all the time and still not seeing an increase in sales—or you’re wondering why certain competitors are doing better than you—this post is for you.

First, let me say: you can grow and sell with organic content. I don’t only feel strongly about this, but I’ve seen it with myself and all of my clients. You don’t need a massive ad budget. In fact, paid ads are often a money pit. Because, if your content sucks in the first place—aka if it’s not good enough to attract, educate, and convert the right people organically—paying to promote a post will end in the same flat results.

Think about it: even if you pay for eyeballs, people can still scroll right past your ad. If the message doesn’t land, those views don’t matter. But if your organic content is scripted, positioned, and framed correctly, it naturally gets pushed in front of the right people—and those people are more likely to stick, follow, and buy.

So what’s the formula?
It comes down to 3 types of content, mixed in the right ratio: Outreach, Authority, and Conversion.

1. Outreach Content (50%)

This is the wide net—the content that brings new eyes to your page. Outreach should be about half of your content strategy.

What it looks like:

  • Trend remix for your own offer
  • Quick tip teaser
  • Looping B-roll
  • Relatable Meme/Graphic

Outreach is what hits new eyes, big numbers— but it’s not about vanity metrics. It’s about making content that’s entertaining or curiosity-piquing while pointing to the most important part of your sales strategy → positioning your offer as the bridge between where your audience is now and where they want to be.

2. Authority Content (30%)

Once you’ve caught attention, you need to nurture it. Authority content is where you teach, diagnose, and prove AUTHORITY in your nichewithout giving away the whole “how.”

What it looks like:

  • Process or behind-the-scenes videos.
  • Industry Myth-Bust
  • Mini education — “here’s why” or “here’s what”
  • FAQ Breakdwon
  • Talking head content
  • Case study–style
  • Showing client transformations.

Think about the doctor analogy: your client knows they have a “sore throat” (symptom), but they don’t know it’s strep until you give them the diagnosis (root problem). Authority content positions you as the expert who can explain why things aren’t working and why your solution matters.

3. Conversion Content (20%)

Finally—the close. This is where a follower turns into a paying customer if they have been nurtured correctly. Conversion content is less about reach, more about action.

What it looks like:

  • Instagram Stories (your warmest leads hang out here).
  • Strong CTA reels.
  • Testimonials
  • Sales emails, DMs, or discovery call follow-ups.

Remember: the people viewing your Stories or clicking through CTAs/ManyChat automations are already tuned in. They don’t need convincing, they need clarity on the next step & closed in the sale.

Finally → Building Strategy Around the Formula

Planning to post 3 times a week or having it written on your calendar is not a strategy. Having a strategy that matches your brand and your audience is much deeper. Here’s how I build one for every client:

  • Audience Analysis
  • Unique Value Propositions
  • Tone & Voice
    • get specific. (because sounding like “everyone else” kills authority).
  • Topics to Cover & Avoid
  • Overarching niches → subtopics → hooks that resonate

This strategic foundation makes it possible to script content that not only gets views—but drives action.

Final Thoughts

The content formula that’s grown my clients’ socials by 10x isn’t complicated. It’s simply:

  • 50% Outreach → new eyes
  • 30% Authority → nurture and build trust
  • 20% Conversion → turn trust into sales

When your content mix is balanced and you’re speaking directly to your audience’s real problems, organic growth becomes predictable & plan-able.
